The England Illegal Money Lending Team is launching its annual Stop Loan Sharks Week Christmas campaign on 30th November.
The theme this year is avoiding loan sharks online amid concerns more people are falling prey to unscrupulous lenders on social media.
Worryingly, one in five victims met their lender on social media in the first half of 2020.
We want to help people avoid loan shark rackets online in the run-up to Christmas.
